INTERVIEWS in celebration of the holds' upcoming 50th issue (November 2001), founder and maharajeee dave dembinski, co-editor Jay Miner and I have teamed together to INTERVIEW all of the contributors of the hold. this issue continues contributor interviews which proves to be not only interesting, intriguing but also I hafta say...these people eat life (luv) ..ha! anyways, by November, I will have assembled all of the issues of the hold (1 - 50) on cd, including these interviews, which will be distributed to all of the contributors.
*Dave, Jay and myself will receive interview questions submitted by the contributors of the hold and anybody else insane that wants an answer - no dead animal questions, you'se!
in the arts: (starting alphabetically)
www.cheshire-cat.org has taken a major design hit recently, with most of the member sites being updated. We've also added two new artists, Elliott & SilentDavid, and the Hold's Dan Symonds is trying to keep an online journal of sorts, called d-log.
At the same time, www.cheshirecat.tv is going great guns, with five short films, a quiz show and an mp3 review series. We're filming new stuff in March, but we really need your clips to get it going. Got a camcorder? Then email us: smile@cheshirecat.tv and join in our experiment.
Thunder Sandwich Broadside Edition is now online...read more contemporary poetry, prose and check out the art over the other side of the internet!
Erosha edited by Donna Hill / Elaine Thomas is now updated! if you would like to submit to the most erotic journal on the internet, subject matter should be sensual, sensuous, erotic, provocative, and original. for poetry or art submission, click here for more details or for more information, email dmhill65@home.com
now you can check out hold contributors not only once a month but during the month at themestream....check the list here! -- and join yourself!
Michael Basinski Assistant Curator of the Poetry/Rare Books Collection of the University Libraries, SUNY at Buffalo offers us complete reviews of the poetry books of not only some of our contributors, but ezines and other books available online and in your local bookstore. Michael's poems, articles and reviews have appeared in numerous publications. send your book to Michael for review!
